Turn Me Into An Efficient, Smart Player in Path of Exile

When beginning fresh, starting from zero, perhaps in a brand new league; how do the smart players progress from-beginning-to-late-game efficiently? Of course, If you need poe currency cheap in game, you can choose u4gm.com sale cheap poe currency.

At what points/stages does one stop zerg-rushing through acts, pause, to then grind for better gear before restarting the zerg-rush act progression? I find that I’m perpetually gear-starved, poor. Often in a state where I’m unable to reliably kill most bosses solo or with any sort of reliability, and struggle with some mobs. Always feels like I live in this perpetual state of: “too poor to buy needed gear, too weak to farm my own.” And another thing, as a matter of efficiency, is it better to always be grouped all the time?

You pick a build that you LIKE that doesn’t need multiple 5+ex gear pieces to be good, because if you don’t like it you won’t have fun and you’ll spend most of your time afking and not playing. After that you find what’s the best way to level said build, check out some speed racing guides for that, for example anything duelist/marauder can easily level with sunder and use free respec points and maybe couple of regrets to transition into your real build.

Glacial Cascade, Flameblast and Freeze Pulse totems are generally good for leveling any kind of spellcaster and Molten Strike/Frost Blades combo is generally good to use for projectile based builds, Lightnign Trap is usually the go to for trappers although you might wanna hold on and see which new trap skills might be better next league, Essence Drain contagion for DOT based builds etc.

You go through zones skipping most enemies until you reach Blood Aqueducts, you should be AT LEAST around 5 levels lower than that zone when you reach it depending on how hard it is to level your build, you only pick up efficent and on the way life nodes while leveling and put rest into adjacent and easy to specc out damage nodes.

Once you farm to level 70-ish in Blood aqueducts and get like 10-15c you start respeccing into your real build, you aim not to spend more than 2-3c per gear piece, just enough to start progressing your atlas, 4l for your main skill and res capped with 4k life or close to it should be more than enough for t1-5 maps.

How To Start A New League in Path of Exile

So when a new league starts, all your characters from the old one goes into standard and you have to totally start over with nothing right? What else changes from league to league? how the hell are people are talking about endgame when if you have to start over you have to level your character back up again?

When you start the league, you start completely fresh, along with everyone else.

Every league comes with a big patch that usually has balance changes or what GGG refers to as an “expansion” which is something like war for the atlas that changed up the mapping system drastically or like fall of oriath which added new acts to the game. Changes to skills like what’s expected with incursion, new skills, ascendancy rebalances like came with bestiary. Other things to kind of refresh the meta a little usually. Unless you’re super hardcore about the game, it can get really boring when the same skills and ascendancies are so good, and if your goal is exp or currency then you might just ignore the league most of the time, in which case a lot of times you need something else to keep you engaged.

People are talking about endgame because for players who have played a ton or practiced a lot, you can finish act 10 in like 4-6 hours pretty easily. Check out DeadAndDoom, he’s the best racer there is (racing is basically starting from a certain point and getting to a certain goal as fast as you can, it can be exp in a certain time or progressing to a certain point.) And other streamers and such have done videos on league starts, engineering eternity probably did, I know raizqt has some videos of league starts or race ideas, zizaran might too.

I’m not as good as they are, and it probably takes me 10-15 hours to get to maps, also partly because I don’t like playing the way that gets you there faster (maximizing impact of exp by being underleveled, ignoring a lot of mobs and just running to boss and killing big packs or blue mobs) I just run to where I want to go and kill along the way however I think is fun. PoE – The Biggest Basic issue starting out was “What Killed You?”

I’m a fairly new player, and got into the game because I like the complexity. But, the complexity does not come with its own intuitiveness. There are so many things wrong with what this game doesn’t show you, and how much outside knowledge is required.

1. The amount of people who started the game and linked “faster casting” to stuff like leap slam. I think poe just revels in it’s own difficulty sometimes.

Much as mentioned in the comments, a lot of it is archaic too and at this point a host of new interactions rely on older ones as well or are balanced around them. It’s a difficult standpoint to be at.

2. My biggest BASIC issue starting out was “what killed me?” Does anyone know if there’s a reason there isn’t a death message in PoE? It’s not that big of a deal now even though there are certainly still times when I’m like ?????, but as a new player that’s already entrenched in (100s) hours of required research and game play to really get a firmly basic grasp on the game, it was rather annoying.

3. This game is insane for how much there is to know. I often have six wiki pages up, have played for a couple thousand hours over two years, and I still didn’t know this about Kaoms roots. The vast amount of knowledge required to actually understand this game is prohibitive for most of the players to really interact with some of the mechanics, and certainly frightens away a lot of new players. It would be nice for things like this to get cleared up.

PoE – Chasing Elder Into Shaper Area and Try To Fight Uber Elder

I made a Raider-Claw Moltenstriker as a Leaguestarter. Found it pretty cheap, fast and strong up to T15. Now I ran into a Little wall. T15 Elder was pretty sketchy and I needed 3 portals. I like to make faster maping builds but I’m not that experienced with Shaper/Uber Elder stuff. Don’t get me wrong, I know it’s a lot of practice to make it cleaner and need lesser portals on SC but not why come in even prepared with the char? Because I think my dps is to low and torments thief is ofc a save mapping item.

Claw Moltenstriker Uber Elder

My jewels are rest over from the full mf gear times of that char. Its my own first input. I need new jewels! Are abyss flat jewels worth it? I have no easy ggg gear budget. ATM I would be willing to invest ~10 maybe 15 ex, if its rly big maybe 20ex. I wanna finish the zana questline by myself and would like to have a char who can do shaper / Uber Elder from time to time. What are you thoughts to tackle the selfmade challenge? My Last Shaper Killer was a Blade Flurry and I don’t rly like that gem anymore.

Every thought is appreciate. Items, trees, whatever. I don’t look for “DO THAT AND THIS, I SAW IT STREAMER XYX DOING”, I look more for ideas or own experiences with molten striker. I like the gem.

I changed some items:

BloodSeeker
Lycosidae
2 new rings with life, phy dmg, resist and int
New flask setup [Diamond,Taste of Hate,The Wise Oak, Atziris Promise
flat dmg abyss Jewel and a Watchers Eys with phys to cold conversion

I changed the Tree a little bit, for more pen and dmg overall. I swaped DMG ON FULL LIFE with CONC EFFECT. If I would remove MULTISTRIKE for CONC EFFECT it would be higher dmg, but the amount of balls in short period of time you get through Multistrike feels saver. I will now continue to kill my T12 Elder and chasing Elder into Shaper Area and try to fight Uber Elder.

I have some thoughts of Items I wanna share, which I maybe swap. 2nd perfect BloodSeeker instead of Lycosidae The dmg is higher and a 2nd weapon with insta leech maybe allows me to facetank some beams. How To Make Deathless Uber Elder Run on Deadeye Summoner in PoE

This build uses Mirror Arrow and Blink Arrow as minions for the main damage source, primarily dealing Fire and Lightning Damage. Due to the new Cooldown Reduction node in Deadeye, this build is now possible as a class other than Necromancer. It also has the ability to use Phantasms quite effectively for extra minions that travel with you.

poe builds

This build isn’t really something that is easy to do in SSF — I spent tons of alts and regals just crafting the jewels for it. I killed Shaper in SSF BHC but eventually died to Uber Elder after doing an attempt with no practice and transferred the character to standard to practice there where I got the deathless Uber Elder run. If you need poe items in game, you can choose u4gm.com sale cheap poe currency.

Pros:
– Consistent mapper, rarely misses mobs
– Relatively budget to get running
– Loads of evasion
– Vaal Grace has a 15+ second duration
– Tons of mobility and taunt in maps
– Can do all bosses and content
– Clones have high survivability despite their seemingly low life pool, as they have 80% implicit damage reduction
– 20 Quality Blink Arrow + Mirror Arrow gems are cheap due to Doppelganger card – sell 1 of them with an alteration to get the other
– All clones have your MTX, duplicate your pets for more friends

Cons:
– Takes a bit of time to get used to
– Not a very good league starter – you really want some of the items first
– You will probably have to craft your own jewels, prepare to spend a lot of alts + regals
– Can’t level with this until you get the first ascendancy
– Need to manage your mana regen to get enough to use your skills
– phys reflect is actually painful if you use split arrow to apply equilibrium
– Taunt jewels cause very awkward behaviour in Uber Elder fight
– Uber Elder can be hard due to no Kaom’s Roots – do not recommend in HC
– Ideally want two 6-links endgame
– Chroming the bow can be a pain for ideal colours
– Loads of arrows in the wall

PoE 3.2 Poet’s Pen Lightning Warp / Arc Elementalist

This build uses Lightning Warp and Arc, socketed in 2x The Poet’s Pen wands, in order to speed-clear maps. While this is NOT a cheap or beginner build, it should be possible to use this character as a league-starter and slowly acquire all of the necessary pieces. Also, a easy way for you to gain poe orbs fast is to poe currency trade on U4GM.

Poet's Pen Lightning Warp

This build clears maps faster than the traditional Unearth + Bodyswap + Volatile Dead combo, and relies on Ball Lightning + Shock Nova for single target. Defenses include ~7k eHP with Mind over Matter, and Acrobatics/Phase Acrobatics. With the changes to Elementalist, Ball Lightning shocks enemies dozens of times per second, which has incredible synergy with the Mind of the Council helmet. This build is capable of clearing essentially all content, including red tier Elder and Shaper.

Strengths & Weaknesses
+ Clears maps faster than VD + Bodyswap
+ Enough DPS for endgame
+ Tanky enough for all softcore purposes
+ Easy to replace several gear pieces with magic find gear

– Moderately expensive, not the best league-starter
– Cannot do elemental reflect maps

Poet’s Pen
The Poet’s Pen wand triggers a socketed spell when using an attack (Default attack, Frenzy, Barrage). If holding two Poet’s Pens, one spell from each wand is triggered simultaneously when an attack is used.

In order to trigger spells every time they’re off cooldown, it is ideal to have <4.00 attacks per second. In fact, it seems more ideal to have an attack rate of 3.75 attacks per second, possibly due to server tickrate.

Should I play this build as an Ascendant?
Ascendant – Elementalist only gets 10% minimum shock. Ultimately, this causes the Ascendant version of the build to only achieve about 20-25% shock against endgame bosses. After considering the extra jewel sockets from Scion, as well as the Inquisitor subclass nodes, an Ascendant gets approx the same DPS and life total as an Elementalist.

What Made You Choose Cherrubium as Opposed To Cloak of Defiance in PoE?

I’m a new player, I have been messing around with poe for the last 2 weeks with various characters, without really investing much in any of them. I have 50c to invest in a proper build, my question is which build will get me the furthest with that kind of investment? I dont have any kind of preference on play style.

You can run ED/Contagion Trickster with nothing but a Tabula for a long, long time. I killed Red Elder in it last league after upgrading to a 6L, Cherrubim’s, but basically that build can be done on literally no gear at all. It can clear anything except probably Uber Elder, though with crazy upgrades who knows, though its damage for single target is only okay compared to stuff like AWC Totems and MS.

Pros:

  • Stupid high dps with either Molten Strike, Bladeflurry, or other attack skills. You’re going to be very close to point blank and +area damage stuff, so whatever fits your playstyle best will work. I personally use bladeflurry, even though I know that MS can have more damage. I just like it more.
  • Leech + instant health/mana from claw makes bosses very easy. Vaal grace should knock you into max dodge if needed, otherwise just have enough health to not get one shotted and face tank most things.
  • Clear speed is very fast
  • The build is scalable from the earliest parts of the game through the max endgame. You never reach a plateau. You can start with no currency at the beginning of the league or 50c and it will be great. You don’t need any specific items.

Cons

  • You use vaal pact. If you havent done this before, it can be intimidating. Once you figure it out, though, you can easily do labs – though people will tell you it is hard or something idk.

Do not attempt ele reflect or no leech maps. Reroll or sell them if corrupted. https://www.u4gm.com/path-of-exile

What’s the Best Map for Monstrous Treasure in PoE?

I received it today the first time and wonder how to use it the most efficient way.

poe guides

1. You have to roll the sextant for 500% IIQ from box monsters. Forgetting the exact name but it says +1 strongbox and monsters are enraged and have 500% IIQ

2. You have to beyond it… the boxes tend to spawn packs in clusters, ideal for spawning beyond bosses for more loot. You really want a map with beyond on it and add a second beyond from zana.

3. Pick a build that can handle multiple beyond bosses at once – if you cannot, sell it – you’re not making close to full use of the sextant.

4. You generally want to do this on a t16 or possibly a t15 – the objective is to get lots of map drops from the box monsters. This is apart from the chance for shaper/elder bases/specific cards.

5. Pick a map with open areas !!! I cannot stress this enough. The boxes spawn in packs of 4-5. And will only spawn full packs if there is space ! If there’s limited space around the box, very few monsters spawn, total waste. I opened mine on a shaped belfry which is a very narrow map – i barely got 1 pack per box… was a damn tragedy.

That’s the basics. If you can’t manage the sextant especially or the double beyond – sell it. It’s a waste w/o it. U4GM.com as one of the most professional online store which glad to share more PoE News and cheap poe trade currency with instant delivery.

What Uniques and Gems You are Planning To Use on A Character in PoE?

I’ve been developing this helpful tool for a bit and wanted to show it to you guys. It’s a character progression planner that lets you pick out what uniques and gems you are planning to use on a character, and see relevant information about them. Do you want to poe buy currency? If you do, you can visit U4GM to have more guides and methods about this.

path of exile trade

Beneath each item you see at what level you can equip them. After clicking on some items, you can see attribute requirements next to each act title that shows what your attributes should look like to equip all items in that act, and all previous acts. If you need more information about an item there is a handy wiki-link for all selected items. You can also save your character selections at the top!

First off. Nice work. I might start using this next league.

1. Add a Category select. Like on PoB’s items, a drop-down menu to select item type (weapon, armor, accessories). This help if someone is not really sure what they what in a slot and just try to browse for something.

2. Item type name next to item name. Makes it easier for newbies to know what type of an item it is. Also further enforcing point 1.

3. Highlight the item level requirement more. I know its there, it’s just QoL to see the lvl req easily. I’m assuming you want this to be used a leveling tool.

4. I forgot #4, but too lazy to change the other numbers so I’ll just leave this here.
5. Instead of a just link to wiki, add a pop up/dropdown window to show the item stats. (I assume this is already planned, just throwing it out there).

6. Scrollbar on uniques and gems tab. Took me a while to realize their scrollable.

7. I find it annoying that I have to add the item to the timeline tab to get the wiki link. Especially when there is already a lot on the timeline tab.

8. Add in recommended templates: for regular leveling, speed running, spell based, attack based, summoners, trappers, etc.

I hope you like it, and I am very open to functionality requests and/or general feedback! Also if you find any bugs or incorrect information, please do tell and I’ll patch it up quickly.

Haru Estia is a girl who uses the feeling of helplessness from not being able to do anything as her medium. She is a gentle, huge-sword wielding girl who suffers from feelings of obligation and guilt.

As a disclaimer, this guide is purely my educated opinion and by no means the only way of playing Haru, but I will back up my recommendations and choices with logical reasoning. Your own preference, playstyle. The brave Haru Estia heads into battle wielding her mighty Soulum sword, while Lilly Bloommerchen’s expression of her madness takes the form of a destructive Mist Scythe.

Skills that generally provide a continuous, permanent effect. Certain skills like Special Attack Mastery break this norm. Haru is also able to briefly combine the two swords together and execute special attacks. Check her out in action below.

To master the Leaping Strike of SoulWorker Haru Estia requires decent timing ability. The distance of the skill will perform depends on how long you press the hotkey, when release and cast the skill, the distance will be calculated depend on the time from you press to you release the spell preset key. I recommend you level up this skill fully.
